TASK 1 ROLE OF THE GRAPHIC DESIGN
-Logo is a graphic mark or emblem commonly used by commercial enterprises organizations and even individuals to did and promote instant public recognition which is good logo and which is bad logo.
Icon
A icons is a religious work of art, most commonly a printing. More broadly the term is used a wide number of contexts for an image, picture, or representation. Icon is also used particularly in modern culture, in the general sense of symbol. Example, name, face, picture, edifice or even a person readily recognized.
Symbol
-A symbols is an object that represent, stands for, or suggests an idea, visual image, belief, action, or material entity symbols take the form of words sounds, gestures, or visual image and used to convert idea and belief.Website
-A website is hosted on least one web server accessible via a network such as the internet or a private local area network through an internet address know as a uniform resource locator. All publicly accessible website collectively constitute the World Wide Web. A webpage is document, typically written in plain text interspersed with formatting instructions of hypertext markup language. A webpage may incorporate element from other website with suitable markup anchors.

Letter Head
-A letterhead is the heading at the top of a sheet of letterhead(stationery). The heading usually consist of a name and an address, and a logo or corporate design and sometime a background pattern. The term "letterhead" is often used to the whole sheet imprinted with such a leading.Envelope
-An envelope is a common packaging item, usually made of thin flat material. It is designed to contain a flat object, such as a letter or card. Traditional envelope are made from sheet of paper cut to one of tree shapes, a rhombus, a short-arm cross, or a kite. The shape allow for the creation of the envelope structure by folding the sheet sides around a central rectangular area. In this manner, a rectangle faced enclosure is formed with an arrangement of four flaps on the reverse side.Name Card
-Name card are cards bearing business information about a company or individual. They are shared during formal introductions as a convenience and a memory aid. A business car typically includes the giver's name, company or business affiliation(usually with logo) and contact information such as street addresses, telephone numbers, fax of electronic communication business cards might also include telex details.
Advertising
-Advertising is a form of communication for marketting used to encourage, persuade, or manipulate and audience to continue or take some new action. Most commonly, the desired result is to driver consumer behavior with respect to a commercial offering, although political and ideological advertising is also common. This type of work belongs to a category called effective labor.Book Design
-Book design is the art of incorporating the content, style, format, design and sequence of the various components of book into a coherent whole.Brochure
-A brochure is a leaflet. Brochure are advertising pieces mainly used to introduce a company or organization, and inform about products and services to a target audience. Brochure are distributed by radio head personally or placed in brochure racks. There are usually present near tourist attraction.Billboard
-Billboard is an international news magazine devoted to music and the music industry, and is one of the oldest trade magazine in the world. It maintain several international recognized music charts that track the most popular song and albums in various categories on weekly basis.Product Packaging
-Packaging is the science, art, and technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale and use. Packaging also refer to the process of design, evaluation and production of packages.
Posters
-A poster ia piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall or vertical surface. Typically posters include both textual and graphic element, although a poster may be either wholly graphic or wholly text, posters are designed to be both eye-catching and information.
Greeting Card
-A greeting cards is an illustrated, folder card features an expressions of friendship or sentiment. Although greeting cards are usually given on special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, or other holidays, they are sent to convey thank or express other feeling that disturbed hundred of companies small or large.

Line
-Line is defined as a mark that span a distance between two points, taking any form along the way. As am art element, line pertains to the use of various marks, outlines and implied lines in the art work and design, most often use to be define shape in two dimensional art work.
Shape
-A shape is the form of an object or its external boundary, outline or external surface as opposed to other properties such as color, texture, material composition.
Color
-Color is the visual perceptual property is the visual property corresponding in humans to the to the categories called red, blue, yellow, green and others. Color derives from the spectrum of light

Color categories and physical specifications of color are also associated with objects or material based on their physical properties such as light absorption reflection, or emission spectra. Type
- Typography is the art and technique of arranging type in order to make the language it forms most appealing to transparent learning and recognition. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, leading (line spacing), adjusting the spaces between groups of letters (tracking) and adjusting the space between pairs of letters (kerning). Type design is a closely related craft, which some consider distinct and others a part of typography, most typographers do not design typefaces, and some type designers do not consider themselves typographers. In modern times, typography has been put into motion in film, television and online broadcasts to add emotion to mass communication.
Art, Photo, and Illustration
- What we might see could be an image that could make people amaze. 3D art is the art that make the picture look real and alive.
Texture
-The texture is the quality of the of a surface, often corresponding to its tactile character, or what may be sensed by touch. Texture may be used in portraying fabrics. It can be explicity rendered or implied with other artistic elements such as lines, shading and variation of color.

TASK 3THE FUNCTION OF GRAPHIC DESIGN
1.SOON LAI WAI
-The main objective of painting is express beauty, this aesthetic theory was upheld by artist , Soon Lai Wai.
-Flower was the first subject Soon dealt with his painting career. Influenced by traditional Chinese art painting, Soon chose Lotus flower as his topic to express the view of art. Beside growing lotuses in his garden, he also travelled widely to admire their beauty in Malaysia and south east asia.
-The lotus best exemplifies Soon virtuosity and originality, and wins the most applause. The broad leaves, succulents petals and long stalks allowed the artist to demostrate through colours and wide range of compositions.
-The powerful strokes can see obviously in his lotus series, Soon tried to break away from traditional art painting, therefore added on wild and energetic brushes strokes to life up the works, the jagged lines, splashes of colours the use of white are so harmonize and layered together on canvas.
-After travelling some local and oversea natural scene and beaches, mountain site, artist fall in love with semi abstract expressing.
-The rockscapes series, absorbed the spirits of Chinese art painting, especially the mountain stroke technical, express on the canvas with oil paints. Its powerful strokes, play with the emptiness spaces, abstractly to symbolize the scenery or landscape. Inspired deeply by Chinese art sense, philosophy and layouts, artist wanted to express the local waterfall or rocks scene in their natural splendour.

3.JOHAN MARJONID
-Johan Marjonid who is also fondly known as JohMar is one of the Malaysia's , most established and known fine artist. He is widely regarded as being one of the few realist naturalist of the country. Comparatively. Johan's artwork is highly unique and original especially with the rising number of artist who are receptive to the likes of Abstract Expressionism and realism, among others.-It is common that one could come across an artist who have stayed true his calling who has been involved in a certain style of work for decades and Johan is just the type of person who has.If one wants to know what Johan is,one would only need to look at his painting because they follow a consistent way of realism with which they mature from experience.
-Its is in his exemplary skills in life painting that Johan has carved a name for himself. And in doing so, he has created his own signatured of paintings , particularly in the subject matter involving forest,trees and vegetation. Hence, the color of green and its related shades are often seen in Johan's work.
-However, one cannot and should not take Johan's work too literal as they are heavily engulfed in metaphors that he wishes to express. He has been actively involved in painting rainforest subjects since 1990s where he produced some of the most compelling artworks of this time. This was seen through that encompasses the likes of series like the Rimba Kanching, Twin towers, Jeriau and many more.

4.HAMDAN SHAARANI
-Hamdan Shaarani a realism painter "bird's eye", the birth of Teluk Intan has works since the 90's until now. He meneteap terseusun Seri village Ginger, Tronoh, Perak. Up to now more than 15 years contributed its expertise as a teacher at the University of advancing technology Perak. Although Hamdan create work using the concept of view realism "bird's eye" used by him cause his work is unique. He chose the subject of the original nature as a subject of reference. Among the places he is diekpedisi No Rainforest, Perak and Taman Negara, Pahang.
-Subject originality of nature recorded bird's eye view of the composition Hamdan is used to produce paper. He was very interested in the subject that is the refractive nature. In short, do not be complete if we look at the work of painting Hamdan without refraction of water. Refraction of water has become an important pulse Hamdan composition work. Sometimes 100 percent satisfied with the composition of the work Hamdan composition of refraction of water.

5.YAP KIM BOON
-Yap Kim Boon’s works in vivid and rich colours illustrate the richness of the local culture and surrounding in an accessible manner. The artist’s distinctive technique of painting with a hand-made bamboo palette knife results in a three dimensional textured effect that captures light and movement uniquely.Another factor which contributes to the realistic feel of the paintings is Yap Kim Boon’s plein-air technique of painting, where he paints in the open air to directly experience the subject matter. His vibrant works of art can bring one to a burst of dazzling heliconias and Bougainvillea.
